Longmorn, distilled in 1992
A single-cask bottling from Longmorn distillery in Speyside, matured for 21 years and bottled at cask strength. Just 120 bottles were released, making this a scarce piece of Queen of the Moorlands bottling history.
Rich, generous Speyside character.
Orchard fruit, honeyed malt and orange peel; baked apple, marmalade, caramelised pear and gentle spice lead into a long, warming finish.
This characterisation is based on the Wine & Whisky product description. At cask strength, a few drops of water may bring forward softer vanilla and creamy fruit notes.
This is a historical limited release. Current availability should be checked with Wine & Whisky.

Ipstones is a village in the Staffordshire Moorlands, close to the heart of Queen of the Moorlands. Naming a rare cask after the village reflects the connection between the bottling brand and the communities of this landscape.
